RF Microneedling combines the collagen-stimulating power of microneedling with radiofrequency energy delivered directly into the dermis.
The combination triggers tissue remodeling at a deeper level than standard microneedling, improving skin laxity, firmness, texture, and tone with results that continue to build for months after each session.

RF Microneedling
HOW IT WORKS
Radiofrequency Microneedling
RF Microneedling uses a device with fine, insulated needles to create controlled micro-channels in the skin while simultaneously delivering radiofrequency energy into the deeper layers of the dermis.
Standard microneedling works at the surface level, stimulating collagen through controlled micro-injuries.
RF Microneedling goes deeper. The radiofrequency energy heats the tissue beneath the skin's surface, triggering a more significant remodeling response. Tightening existing collagen fibers while stimulating the production of new ones. The result is improved firmness, laxity, and texture that continues to develop for 3 to 6 months after treatment.
Because the needles are insulated, the radiofrequency energy is delivered precisely to the target depth without affecting the skin's surface. This makes RF Microneedling effective and well-tolerated across a range of skin types and tones.
Consultation
Your provider assesses your skin concerns, laxity, texture, and goals to confirm RF Microneedling is the appropriate treatment and determine the right protocol for your skin.
Treatment
The RF Microneedling device is passed over the skin in a controlled pattern. Needle depth and radiofrequency intensity are adjusted by your provider based on the treatment area and your skin's response. Sessions take 45 to 60 minutes.
Numbing
Topical numbing cream is applied 30 to 45 minutes before treatment to ensure your comfort throughout the session.
Results
Redness and mild swelling resolve within 24 to 48 hours. Collagen remodeling builds progressively over 3 to 6 months. Most guests see optimal results after a series of 3 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart.
WHAT IT TREATS
Skin laxity, texture, and tone.
RF Microneedling is most effective for concerns that require deeper tissue remodeling than surface-level treatments can achieve.
Skin laxity
Uneven texture
Loss of firmness
Acne scarring
Fine line and wrinkles
Sun damage

WHAT TO EXPECT
Consultation first. Always.
Every RF Microneedling appointment at Graceology begins with a skin assessment. Your provider reviews your skin type, laxity, texture concerns, and treatment history before selecting needle depth and radiofrequency settings.
Topical numbing is applied before your session begins. The treatment itself takes 45 to 60 minutes. After treatment, skin will appear red and feel warm -- similar to a mild sunburn. This is a normal response and resolves within 24 to 48 hours. Most guests return to normal activity within a day or two.
Collagen remodeling continues to build for up to 6 months after each session. For most concerns, a series of 3 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart delivers the best long-term results. Your provider will recommend the appropriate number of sessions at your consultation.

FAQ
Frequent asked questions.
How is RF Microneedling different from standard microneedling?
Standard microneedling stimulates collagen through controlled micro-injuries at the skin's surface. RF Microneedling delivers radiofrequency energy through the needles into the deeper dermis, triggering a more significant tissue remodeling response. The result is greater improvement in skin laxity and firmness than standard microneedling can achieve.
Does RF Microneedling hurt?
Topical numbing cream is applied before treatment. Most guests experience mild pressure and warmth during the session. Discomfort is manageable for most people and the treatment is well-tolerated.
How many sessions do I need?
Most guests see optimal results after a series of 3 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. Your provider will recommend the appropriate number based on your skin concerns and goals at your consultation.
Is RF Microneedling safe for all skin tones?
Yes. Because the radiofrequency energy is delivered through insulated needles rather than light or laser energy, RF Microneedling is safe and effective across all skin tones including deeper complexions.
When will I see results?
Initial improvement in skin texture and tone is noticeable within 2 to 4 weeks. Collagen remodeling continues for up to 6 months after each session, with results improving progressively across the full treatment series.
How much downtime should I expect?
Redness and mild swelling are normal for 24 to 48 hours following treatment. Most guests return to normal activity within a day or two. Avoiding makeup for the first 24 hours is recommended.
